Wiltshire AGM, Points Presentation, Buffet & Quiz

Dear Member

Our annual AGM, Points Presentation, Buffet and Quiz takes place on Friday 23rd March 2018 at The Wiltshire Hotel, Vastern, Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire, SN4 7PB (Between Lyneham and RWB), commencing at 7.00pm with  the AGM followed by our Points Presentations at about 7.30 -7.45pm.

Buffet will follow and is £5 per head. Finally our popular Annual Quiz which will start around 9pm.
The Points Presentation 2017 will take place after the AGM, please email your name, horse's/ponies name(s) and BS numbers to; jennyjhopkins@gmail.com by 20th March to be included.
Points divided as follows;
Novice Pony (up to and incl. 699 points), Open Pony (700 points &over), 
Novice Horse (up to and incl. 699 points),Open Horse (700 points & over). 
Totals as at 31st December 2017.
1st - 6th in each section.
Sash to Winner of each section.
Points are awarded on Graded winnings only (ie where prize money has been awarded) between 1st January 2017 to 31st December 2017 inclusive. Combination only - not including other riders or previous owners, Rider must be a current British Showjumping member and resident in the county of Wiltshire or member of Wiltshire Junior Academy.
Scale of points 1st = 10 points, 2nd 9 points etc down to 10th and below where 1 point is awarded if prize money given. Double points awarded for all second rounds/reg finals and at championship classes ie Blue Chip, Scope, Pony of the Year, HOYS, Amateur Champs, etc and also at our Area or Junior Academy Show. Table A classes where all equal 1st will receive 5 points
Buffet - (£5 payable on the day) please email karenpunter@aol.com by 14th March so we can confirm numbers. Annual Quiz, please email me with your team name (name of yard etc or anything you like!), teams of 3 or 4 prizes in kind for winning team. Questions include; General Knowledge, Geography, Pop, British Showjumping etc
