British Showjumping Stewards Hearing re Mrs Clare Bossons

Following the Stewards Hearing on Tuesday, 31st October 2011, the Stewards of British Showjumping imposed the following penalties:-
Mrs Clare Bossons, Oakhanger, Crewe, Cheshire
The Stewards sustained against Mrs Clare Bossons, that:
1) She did write, prepare, publicise and circulate to members of British Showjumping in the
North West of England a leaflet that:
a) asked recipients to sign and send part to Iain Graham and part to Andrew Finding of the British Equestrian Federation; and
b) made disparaging remarks about the Chief Executive of British Showjumping, Iain Graham, and about British Showjumping that they “condone its use” referring to the use of performance enhancing drugs on horses in British Showjumping competitions and how “no other sport would condone such poor sportsmanship, cheating and gross animal cruelty”.
Which is in contravention of Rules 82.11 and 82.13 of the British Showjumping Rules 2011
2) She did discuss the leaflet referred to above and its contents with Horse & Hound which is in

The Stewards decided that Mrs Bossons be fined the sum of £400 in respect of the first offence but no separate penalty to be imposed for the second office..
