SouthView Pony Premier Show hosts the Blue Chip Feed Balancer Pony Newcomers second round

SouthView Arena in Cheshire held a pony premier show last weekend which saw the second Blue Chip Feed Balancer Newcomers second round of the season take place.
 
It was Wolverhampton based Heidi Love that took the top spot and first of three, Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) qualification tickets. Fifteen year old Heidi was riding her mothers (Jayne) thirteen year old chestnut gelding Carbon Copy V who she has been riding since the age of twelve. Heidi and Carbon Copy V jumped clear in all three rounds coming home in an unbeatable jump off time of 34.65 seconds.
 
Emily Ward from Cheshire celebrated her twelfth birthday two days early when she managed to come home in second place picking up a ticket to HOYS. Riding her fathers (Nick) six year old chestnut gelding King Mac, Emily jumped clear in a jump off time of 35.36 seconds.
 
The final HOYS ticket went to Northallerton based Alex Gill riding Carole Dean’s seven year old dark bay gelding Anmanvalley Santino. Alex once again jumped three clears coming home in a jump off time of 36.33 seconds.
 
The above three combinations also qualify for the Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival along with fourth placed fifteen year old Demi Watson. Demi from Wolverhampton was riding her mother’s five year old bay gelding Brambleborough Alan and jumped clear in 36.68 seconds.

Horse of the Year Show 2011 is the 4th – 9th October at Birmingham’s NEC.
The Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival 2011 will take place from Sunday 28th August to Saturday 3rd September at Stafford County Showground.
