2* (Level 3) Judges Assessment Day

To: All 1* (Level 2) Judges

I have great pleasure in writing to confirm the dates and venues for the forthcoming 2* (Level 3) Judge Assessment Days for Judges who are interested in upgrading to or maintaining 2* (Level 3) Judge Status.

British Showjumping have organised two assessment days as per the details below: -

   · Northern Assessment Day - 18th November 2013

       o Harrogate Riding Centre, Brackenthwaite Lane, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG3 1PW

   · Southern Assessment Day - 27th November 2013

       o Berkshire College of Agriculture, Hall Place, Burchetts Green, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 6QR

Both Assessment Days will start at 0830 hrs with Tea & Coffee, and should be finished around 1800 hrs.

The agenda for the day is currently in its final stages of being confirmed and will be released to delegates when it is finalised; however the day will include a written and oral examination.  Once further information is finalised, I will endeavour to release this to all confirmed attendees.

The purpose of this letter is firstly to advise you of the dates and venues, and also to ascertain who is interested in attending the Assessment Days.

If you are interested in attending the Assessment Day, then can I please ask you to email me on Rob.Ellis@BritishShowjumping.co.uk confirming which date and venue you would like to attend?  I will acknowledge your email once received and then add you to the list of attendees.  Judges interested in applying for upgrade are reminded to check they are able to meet the criteria to be upgraded.

If you are interested in upgrading but unable to attend on these dates, then can I please ask you to email me on Rob.Ellis@BritishShowjumping.co.uk advising this.  If the need dictates, then a 3rd Assessment Day in the Midlands maybe organised.

All current 2* Judges are reminded that they must attend and pass an Assessment Day to retain their 2* Judge Status.
