British Showjumping’s Youth Squads announced for Youth Nations Cup Finals

The following three youth squads have been selected to represent Great Britain at the FEI CSIO Youth Nations Cup Finals. The competition takes place between 13th – 17th September 2023 at Sentower Park, Opglabbeek (BEL).

Pony Squad

Katie Bradburne, from Berkshire, with the 15-year-old grey gelding Ardough Boy, owned by David Howden.

Georgia Cooper Hall, from Cheshire, with the 13-year-old chestnut mare Saxton Freedam, owned by Liam Hall.

Millie Davies, from Preston, with the 12-year-old grey gelding Teach Mor Joey, owned by Julia Davies.

Izabella Rogers, from Essex, with the 11-year-old bay gelding Neil 55, owned by Nicola Rogers.

Madison Seedhouse, from Staffordshire, with the 14-year-old grey gelding Vaughann De Vuzit, owned by ESM Equestrian. 

 

Junior Squad

Olivia Banks, from Chester, with the 12-year-old grey mare Geodina HS, owned by Emma Banks.

Sophie Evans, from Staffordshire, with the 11-year-old chestnut gelding CSIO Bel, owned by ESM Equestrian.

Tabitha Kyle, from Leicestershire, with the 15-year-old black mare Desterly, owned by T J Hall Ltd.

Phoebe Farman, from Surrey, with the 10-year-old bay gelding Iniesta, owned by Tracy Priest.

Poppy Deakin, from Newcastle Upon Tyne, with the 9-year-old chestnut mare Qlicious, owned by Felicity Deakin.

 

Young Riders Squad

Jennifer Billington, from Wrexham, with the 12-year-old bay gelding Flipper Darco UK Z, owned by Paul Billington.

Lauren Caroline, from West Sussex, with the 12-year-old bay gelding Gait L, owned by Lee Caroline.

Izac Ketteridge, from Essex, with the 11-year-old bay gelding Hurricane VDL, owned by Elisha Simmons.

Ava Vernon, from Lincolnshire, with the 11-year-old bay mare Volnay De Choc Z, owned by Dean John Venon.

 

 

Timetable

The competitions for all three teams will take place on the following days:

Nations Cup Qualifier – Thursday, 14th September
Grand Prix – Friday, 15th September
Challenge Cup – Saturday, 16th September
Nations Cup Final – Sunday, 17th Septmeber

Team Support

The GBR Showjumping teams are supported by the British Equestrian Federation’s World Class Programme, funded by UK Sport through the National Lottery. The Programme focuses on identifying talent, developing potential and maximising medal-winning performances on the world stage. The teams are further supported by LeMieux, who supply the teams with saddlepads.
