The Regional League presentations for the Central Region were held at Patchetts Equestrian Centre on Friday 19th February where the magazine sponsor, Chiltern & Thames Rider were there to cover and take pictures. The evening consisted of light refreshments throughout, and both British Show jumping’s Chief Executive, Diana Cornish and Head of Communications, Maria Clayton were present.
The Central Region is made up of the following counties, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Middlesex, Bedfordshire and Berkshire. The presentations kicked off with the Senior League and first up were joint winners for the Senior 1m with 91 points each, Jade Lye with Touch of Frost V and Nicki Denton with Miss Millenium. Andrea Clarkson with her mare, Siennas Renkum Shauna claimed the Senior 90cm with 80 points and Fiona Christian with Diamond Dale accumulated an impressively high point score in both the Senior 80cm (132 points) and the Senior 70cm (142 points).
It was then the turn of the Juniors, who scored very high points. Rosanna Parker with her steed Celtic Wysteria clocked up a cool 174 points for the Junior 1m and the consistent Jordan Lye with Silkan JJ won the Junior 90cm with 138 points. In the Junior 80cm Jordan Gann with Little Lass did very well with 145 points. To finish, Kristina Philpot with Tullibards Magic Trick topped the Junior 70cm table with 74 points.
Chiltern&Thames Rider Magazine would like to congratulate everyone on their wins having done extremely well and good luck for the next season.
