CHLOE ASTON WINS THE 2009 DERBY HOUSE WINTER NOVICE QUALIFIER

Fourteen year old Chloe Aston from Tring, Hertfordshire took first place in the Derby House Winter Novice Qualifier held at Addington Equestrian Centre, booking her place at the 2009 final to be held at The Royal International Horse Show in the summer.
Chloe qualified riding Virgina MacGregors’ nine year old bay mare Tessa C jumping a double clear in a jump off time of 31.96 seconds. Second place went to Bruce Menzies from Horsham, West Sussex. Bruce riding Old Lodges’ six year old chestnut gelding Mohammed II jumped a double clear in a jump off time of 34.35 seconds, also booking his place in the final. Third place went to Kerry Grimster from Maidenhead, Berkshire. Kerry riding Penelope Grimsters six year old chestnut mare Carnlecka Dance had four faults in a jump off time of 31.54 seconds.
