The fifth stage of the International Stairway series took place today (Wednesday 26th June) at the Royal Norfolk Show.

It was Hickstead Derby winning combination of Philip Miller and Caritiar Z who took the top spot jumping the only double clear of the competition in a time of 49.75 seconds. The 13 year-old grey gelding is owned by Nigel Eccles, Di Cornish and Pennie Cornish.
Second place went to Spencer Roe partnering his mother Sally’s 10 year-old bay gelding Wonder Why. The combination finished on 1 time penalty. Chloe Winchester riding her mother Gillian’s 10 year-old bay mare Avoka Valkyrie finished on four faults relegating them into 3rd place.
