KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Regional Finals Continue at Patchetts Equestrian Centre

The KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice regional finals continued this weekend at Patchetts Equestrian Centre in Watford, Hertfordshire. The regional final was held on Saturday 15th June 2013 and it proved to be popular, attracting a total of 68 eligible starting combinations.
A total of 7 combinations went on to achieve the treble clear required to qualify for the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Championship Final, which will be held at the Alexanders Horseboxes British Showjumping Scope Festival (25th – 31st August 2013).
Following on from a well fought jump off, the winner’s spot was finally taken by 29 year-old Shari Butchart from Waltham Abbey, Essex aboard her own 8 year-old bay gelding Anquis. The combination achieved their treble clear in a fast time of 45.61 seconds to take the class win.
In second place was 27 year-old Emily Portas from Chesterfield, Derbyshire and she rode her own 5 year-old bay mare, Dalina. This combination got their third clear in a time of 47.00 seconds.
Finishing up in third place was 47 year-old Allan Clutterbuck from Brentwood, Essex and he secured his immaculate treble clear on board his own 6 year-old chestnut gelding, Temple Rebus. Their third clear was achieved in 49.34 seconds.
A further 4 combinations also achieved a treble clear and a total of 7 combinations will now go forward to the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Championship Final.

The Alexanders Horseboxes British Showjumping Scope Festival 2013 will take place from the 25th – 31st August 2013 at Staffordshire County Showground.
