MASTERS WIN FOR MENDOZA

Thirteen year old Jessica Mendoza from Chippenham, Wiltshire won the Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Masters today at the Easibed BSJA Scope Festival of Show Jumping held at Stafford County Showground.
Jessica who has already qualified for the Horse of the Year Show jumped double clear on her mothers Sarah Mendoza’s eight year old grey mare, Razorlite II to finish in a very fast jump off time of 31.16 seconds. Pippa Allen, who has also already qualified, from Cleveland, Durham followed in second place riding Duncan Inglis’ eight year old bay mare Wicked II, double clear in a time of 31.22 seconds. Harriet King took third place, which qualifies her for the Horse of the Year Show in October. Harriet was riding Tony Newbery’s eleven year old grey gelding, Sir Wallace, double clear in 32.79 seconds.
