VICKY TULLOCH WINS INTERNATIONAL STAIRWAY SERIES

Vicky Tulloch and her ten year-old bay mare Soliegette secured the International Stairway Championship title at the Royal Berkshire show yesterday (Sunday 20th September).

Having been consistently placed across five of the eight classes during the 2009 County show season, her performance was strong enough to secure her the title despite having an unfortunate two fences down during the final competition of the series.

Talking afterwards Vicky commented:

“I’m delighted we’ve won the title. It’s been a series that I’ve followed throughout the year and always hoped to secure the title, so today has been a fantastic day for both myself and my brilliant Soliegette”.

Winner of the final class of the International Stairway was Laura Renwick with Sandra Keaveney’s Beluga II, being one of only a handful of clear rounds going through to the jump off Laura produced a fantastic double clear, making this their first win of the series.

British Show Jumping would like to thank their Business Partners and County Show venues who jointly funded the International Stairway Series.

The Business Partnership was created with the aim of bringing like minded individuals and companies together, and is supported heavily by Marsh, Next, Champion, National Friendly, Chester Racecourse, Equitherm and Equestrian Edge.
