IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THE SHOW, PLEASE CANCEL YOUR ENTRIES, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE CHARGED 50% OF THE ENTRY DUE NEXT TIME YOU ATTEND A SHOW ORGANISED BY BRITISH SHOWJUMPING AREA 44
RULES & REGULATIONS
1.All classes listed in this schedule will be judged in accordance with the current British Showjumpipng rule book and the affiliated classes are confined to horses registered with the British Showjumping and must be owned and ridden by members in accordance with rule 79.
2.If any person lodges an objection, such an objection should be made in writing, and a £100 deposit paid, to the Secretary with in half an hour of the event. This will be sorted by the appointed stewards of the show and if sustained, the deposit will be refunded.
3.No official on the day of the show will accept responsibility for any loss of or damage to property belonging to competitors, their servants and spectators.
4.Health & Safety - Reasonable precautions will be taken to ensure the health and safety of persons present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and all the officials and stewards. Sussex Medical will be present at these events and the first aid post is the Secretary's Office or at the judges box or collecting ring steward who can easily call the Medic
5. No member shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any show jumping competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure other members of the public are not put at risk of injury. Discs must be worn on the bridle and ribbon in the tail.
6. The 45 second countdown will be used by the judges providing there is a display clock.
1 PONY 70cm PROGRESSIVE OPEN Commencing 9.30 am
Table A4. Fences start at 70cm and will progress to 75cm. For registered ponies ridden by Pony & Pony Associate members. Single fences only.
Prizes: £15 : £12 : £10 : £8

Classes 2 & 2a will run concurrently and ponies may enter one section only. There will be one course walk before class 2 for both sections. Regardless of the number of starters there will be 2 prize givings.
2 THE OLD SCHOOL BAMBURGH PONY BRITISH NOVICE CHAMPIONSHIP – 1st Round Not before11.00 a.m.
Table: 2 Phase Speed 325mpm To be judged in accordance with British Showjumping Rule 410 & 286. The highest placed pony rider combination residing in Surrey, will receive a complimentary lesson with Sally Thurloway at Forest Farm.

4 FANCY DRESS PAIRS RESCUE RELAY Not before 1.30 p.m.
Table C Judges as in rule 283. Single fences. . 1ST pony jumps 70cm course, 2nd pony jumps a 90cm course. For registered ponies ridden by pony and pony associate members. Fancy dress not obligatory. Prize for best fancy dress pair.

5 BLUE CHIP PONY NEWCOMER/1M OPEN (BOTH TO INC. THE PONY RESTRICTED RIDER QUALIFIER).Not before 3.00 p.m.
Table A7 Speed 325mpm. Judged as in rule 406. For registered ponies ridden by pony and pony associate members Ponies in this class must not have won a total of £300 In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split. Ponies may compete in 1 section only. The pony riders in either section who have not won a total of £500 notional winnings are eligible for double clear qualification for the Pony Restricted /Rider Championship. 4 Double clears to qualify.
The highest placed Newcomer or Open pony not in first position will also receive the first prize of £25

6 SQUIBB GROUP PONY FOXHUNTER / 1.10M OPEN Not before 4.30 p.m.
Table: A7 Speed 325mpm. Rule 404 For registered ponies ridden by pony and pony associate members Ponies in this class must not have won a total of £500. Open Section of this class is open to any grade of pony. In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split.
The highest placed Foxhunter or Open pony not in first position will also receive the first prize of £25
