Nicole Lockhead Anderson and Billy Chill take the win in the National Grade C Championship Final

This afternoon at the British Showjumping National & Academy Championships 2021, Nicole Lockhead Anderson took home the National Grade C Championship title with the 8 year-old Billy Chill.

It was a challenging course which saw only five make it through to round two. In a tight jump off with four double clears across the board it was Nicole and Billy Chill who rose to the top with a time of 39.64 seconds.

With great pride, Nicole Lockhead Anderson commented: “She’s [Billy Chill] so talented, I’m very lucky to ride her for Dean Vernon!” before continuing to say “She is so careful, and she makes everything feel very easy.”

Nicole and Billy Chill have only been a combination for the last three months,  but have already had a couple of 1.40m wins.

Megan James and Jolita L followed in second place, with Phillip Miller and Don Royale taking home third place.
