Congratulations to Jancey Wembridge & Who’s Dilemma who were 2nd in the Dodson & Horrell 1.05m National Amateur Second Round at Summerhouse Equestrian Centre, also to Dominica Rogan- Pfaff & Dilana SL who were 9th & Helen Mitchell & Rio Alto who were 10th.
Qualifying them for Dodson & Horrell National Amateur Championships, which take place at Aintree Equestrian Centre in Liverpool during the 18th – 22nd November 2015

Thirty-two combinations came forward to contest the Dodson & Horrell 1.05m National Amateur Second Round that took place at Summerhouse Equestrian Centre in Hardwicke, Gloucestershire and it proved an exciting competition for all of those focused on securing a direct qualifying place for the Championships.

The Dodson & Horrell National Amateur Championships will take place at Aintree Equestrian Centre in Liverpool during the 18th – 22nd November 2015 and from Saturday’s starting field, fourteen combinations made it through to the jump off. With just twelve qualification places available, competitors faced a nervous wait to see who had managed to secure one.

Theresa Anderson from Credenhill, Hereford took the top spot on her own 10 year-old bay mare Kashmir VS. They produced the fastest double clear of the class to power through the finish in just 44.58 seconds and this eventually gave them nearly five seconds in hand.  

Jancey Wembridge from Taunton, Somerset finished up in second with her own 20 year-old bay mare Who’s Dilemma after they produced their second foot perfect round in 49.48 seconds.

Katie-Anne James from Chepstow, Monmouthshire secured her place inside the top three with Danielle James’ 8 year-old grey gelding Heathercombe Dancing Cloud. This pairing achieved their double clear in 50.45 seconds.
