Iain Warnock Wins the Penultimate Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round at SNEC

This weekend marked the penultimate Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round competition held at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre (SNEC), which saw riders take to the ring for their chance to secure their spot in the final.
The initial 12-fence track reduced the starting field to seven combinations for the jump-off. Impressively, all seven horse and rider combinations jumped clear again to complete on a triple clear and the results would be decided by the clock.
Iain Warnock, riding his own eight-year-old gelding Here’s Felix, claimed the top spot with the fastest time of the day, finishing in 33.39 seconds. Sarah Rowell slotted her own Meeko De Mariposa into second place, 3.68 seconds off the winning pace whilst Rachel Williamson picked up third aboard Jim Wilmer’s Ragnar 2nd , finishing just 0.11 seconds in arrears.
In the Senior British Novice Second Round, it was Rachel Williamson who emerged victorious with Jim Wilmer’s Ragnar 2nd. The pair raced through the finish as the fastest of two triple clears, finishing over seven seconds ahead of second placed Khadeeja Braithwaite who was riding Nice Try II for Sandra Low Mitchell. Billy Comrie took home third place as the fastest four-faulter in round two with his own An Grianans Classic Cruis.
