A SCOTTISH WIN IN THE YORKSHIRE METAL RECYCLING 70CM PONY OPEN

Kicking things off in Arena 3 on day two at the British Showjumping National Championships 2018 was the 70cm Pony Open kindly sponsored by Yorkshire Metal Recycling Company. With 39 in the class, the glory was that of 15 year old Emma Clark aboard Kyleston Chasing Dreams. The 13 year old grey mare who is known as Lady at home put on a show stopper of a round with tight turns and a good stride to each fence. Speaking after her win, Emma commented: “The course really suited her so we were able to make good time and do some risky turns. I completely trust her and there is just nothing I wouldn’t do with her, she is just amazing!”
Having travelled all the way down to Warwickshire from Ayrshire for the Championships, Emma added: “We are really loving the Show here and we can’t wait to jump in the Championship Arena next week for the Showjumping Academy. This may well be my last show with Lady as I will be moving onto horses so she will go out on loan. I will never sell her; she is a pony of a lifetime. I have another horse called Miami who I hope to be competing here with next year.”
