Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport 2022

Previously known as Parents in Sport Week, this week (3-9 October 2022), the NSPCC have announced that this year they are launching Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport week.

This campaign will run year-round but will have an annual focused awareness week in the first week of October, bringing together parents, sports clubs and bodies, and NSPCC ambassadors to help parents to keep children safe in sport.

How can you get involved?

Visit the campaign's official online website information hub here  - there you can find:

  • resources developed to help you 'be a great sports parent' in their parents' hub
  • take the updated e-learning course and learn how to keep your child safe
  • watch the panel discussion video to see how parental involvement has changed over the years and get tips on how to involve parents

Stay up to date with what's going on by following updates on twitter @TheCPSU and @NSPCC, and using the hashtag #SafeinSport.
