British Showjumping’s Youth Squads announced for Youth European Championship

The following three youth squads have been selected to represent Great Britain at the FEI Jumping European Championship for Young Riders, Juniors, and Children. The competition takes place between 19 – 26 July 2026 at the Hagen a.T.W., Germany. 

Juniors 

Sophie Campbell, from Gloucestershire, with the 11-year-old bay gelding, RSH Monbeg Marshall, owned by Lucinda Campbell.  

Hollie Gerken, from Colchester, with the 12-year-old bay gelding, Joplin I, owned by Ruth Dowie.   

Emily Gulliver, from London, with the 10-year-old chestnut mare, Glamor de Vie, owned by Ben Gulliver. 

Cate Kerr, from Doncaster, with the 11-year-old bay gelding, Petitfour VD Wareslage, owned by John Chadwick.    

Nellie Lock, from Essex, with the 9-year-old grey roan mare, Diamantine Z, owned by Alex James Bishop.  

 

Young Riders 

Lauren Caroline, from West Sussex, with the 11-year-old bay gelding, Casago Du Rouet PS, jointly owned by Guy Williams 

Amelie Gachoud, from West Horsley, Surrey, with the 15-year-old bay gelding, Lancaster II, owned by HMF Equestrian Ltd.  

Rachel Proudley, from North Yorkshire, with the 13-year-old black mare, Capri HK, owned by HK Horses. 

Olivia Sponer, from London, with the 14-year-old bay gelding, Bingo Du Chateau, owned by Jennifer Sponer. 

Noora von Bülow, from London, with the 13-year-old grey mare, Primavera II, owned by Nola Farms.  

The Chef d’Équipe for the Junior and Young Riders Squad will be Tracey Newman. 

 

Children on Horses 

Charlie Barker, from North Yorkshire, with the 9-year-old chestnut mare, Special Summer, owned by Michael Rowland.    

Mia Breen, from West Sussex, with the 13-year-old Chestnut Gelding K. I Crack 41, owned by Caroline Breen.   

Elle Hourihan, from Hemel Hempstead, with the 15-year-old Roan Mare Gilka B, owned by Kerri Hourihan  

Tabby Morgan Evans, from Suffolk, with the 14-year-old bay gelding Catoki, owned by Unex Competition Yard Ltd. 

Alexander Leggott, from North Yorkshire, with the 9-year-old bay mare, Blossom’s Billy Heinz, owned by The Blossom Stud.  

The Chef d’Équipe for the Children Squad will be Clare Whitaker.

2nd Round of Team Final – Friday, 24 July at 14:00 local time
