Perfect Pony Team Secures Nations Cup Victory for Great Britain in Hagen

Great Britain's Pony Team delivered a flawless performance in the FEI Jumping Nations Cup Youth at Hagen on Friday, producing an outstanding display of consistency and composure to secure victory on a perfect score of zero faults.

Drawn to lead the way for the team, Amy Capper and Oscar Van De Beekerheide set the tone from the outset with an excellent clear round, giving Great Britain the ideal start. Following her, Raphaela Dawson partnered Woody Allen Van Duyversputten to another impressive clear, keeping the British challenge firmly on track.

Third to go was Cora Dowey aboard Armene Du Costlig, who continued the team's faultless momentum with another polished clear round. Anchoring the team in the first round, Lucia Caroline and Holly Blue completed the clean sweep with a fourth consecutive clear, leaving Great Britain at the top of the leaderboard on a score of zero faults heading into the second round.

With the pressure of leading the competition, the British riders returned determined to maintain their advantage. Amy once again led from the front, producing a second superb clear round to give the team another perfect start.

Raphaela encountered a more challenging second-round track and finished with 28 faults, but with Nations Cup scoring allowing the team to discard the highest score, Great Britain's hopes remained firmly intact.

Cora then stepped up once more, delivering another exceptional clear round to keep the team in a commanding position. With victory within touching distance, Lucia entered the arena knowing a solid performance would secure the win. Rising to the occasion, she guided Holly Blue to a second consecutive clear round, ensuring Great Britain finished on a remarkable final score of zero faults and claimed a well-deserved Nations Cup victory.

The result highlighted the strength and depth of Britain's pony riders on the international stage, with all four combinations contributing to a memorable team triumph in Germany.
