British Showjumping’s Team Cavalor announced for Rome CSIO 5* Nations Cup

The British Showjumping team selected for the CSIO 5* FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup show in Rome, Italy  which runs between 26 – 29 May 2016  are as follows.  This will be the second point scoring leg of the series for the British Team, the first of which takes place this Friday at La Baule in France.

Ben Maher  from Bishops Stortford with either  the 13 year-old bay stallion Tic Tac or the 13 year-old bay stallion Sarena, both of whom are owned by Jane Forbes Clark.

Jess Mendoza who is based in The Netherlands with Spirit T, a 15 year-old brown mare owned by Sarah Mendoza.

Nick Skelton from Alcester, Warwickshire with Beverley Widdowson’s 13 year-old bay stallion Big Star with whom Nick won a Team Gold at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

John Whitaker from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire with his own and wife Clare’s 14 year-old bay stallion Argento.

Michael Whitaker from Whatton, Nottinghamshire with the 11 year-old grey stallion Cassionato which is owned by Beverley Widdowson.

The Nations Cup competition takes place Friday 27th May at 15:45 hrs local time and the Grand Prix on Sunday 29 May 2016 at 15:00 hrs  local time.   The Chef d’Equipe accompanying World Class Performance Manager for Showjumping, Di Lampard.
