British Showjumping, in conjunction with Sport England, is delighted to announce the riders who have been accepted onto the 2022 Gold Development Programme.
The Programme, which will run annually and is funded by Sport England, intends to support riders aiming to establish themselves at the 1.40m-1.50m level; as well as supporting riders that are aiming to be selected for World Class Performance Pathway Programme.
The first training camp will be held at British Showjumping’s National Training Centre (NTC) on the 6th and 7th December. During these camps, athletes will participate in training sessions with the lead coaches for the programme, Matt Lanni and Nicola McLeish. Each camp will also have unmounted sessions to include saddlers, farriers, equine physiotherapists, rider strength and conditioning, clean sport talks, plus much more.
