Timothy Craggs Claims NAF Five Star Bronze League Semi Final Victory at Northcote Stud

The NAF Five Star Bronze League Semi Final at Northcote Stud attracted a strong field of 49 rider combinations, all hoping to secure one of the coveted qualifying places for the prestigious Horse of the Year Show Final this October. 

Set a challenging track by course designer Shaun Sands, the competition proved to be a true test of horse and rider. Only eight combinations managed to produce faultless performances over the opening two rounds, earning their place in a competitive jump-off where speed and precision would decide the final standings. 

Delivering the fastest clear of the day, Timothy Craggs partnered Lindsey Craggs' Carrickadawson Candy to an impressive victory, stopping the clock in 36.65 seconds to secure the top spot and book their place at the Horse of the Year Show Final. 

Katie Benbow produced another polished performance aboard Latico to claim second place with a clear round in 38.32 seconds, while Anabel Cluer and Ciao Bella Z completed the podium after crossing the finish in 38.48 seconds. 

With qualification now secured, Timothy and Carrickadawson Candy will set their sights on the NAF Five Star Bronze League Final, which takes place at the Horse of the Year Show in October, where they will compete against the country's leading Bronze League combinations for the coveted national title.
