Voltaire Design Under 25 British Championship at The London International Horse Show

British Showjumping are proud to announce that Voltaire Design are continuing their support of the Under 25 British Championship at 2022 London International Horse Show, which this year takes place on the morning of Thursday 15th December.

Former Voltaire Design Under 25 British Championship title holders include rider Jodie Hall-McAteer who claimed the title in 2019 and 2021 and who has gone on to enjoy success at 5* level. Iain Graham, Chief Executive of British Showjumping said: “Jodie has been selected to be part of the British Team this year at 5* Nations Cup level which just goes to show what an important part of the age group’s calendar this championship is. It is great to have Voltaire Design back to support the Championships; and enabling these young riders to experience being part of an FEI World Cup Qualifier show in London at Christmas.”

Matt Tarrant, Director of Voltaire Design United Kingdom and Ireland, said: “Voltaire Design is delighted to be supporting the Under 25 British Championship this year, it is a great way to support the very best British rising stars to express their potential and showcase their talent at an exciting show. We wish the best of luck to everyone in the Voltaire Design U25 Championship qualifying rounds”

This sponsorship is an extension of their existing support of many leading international riders who include Harriet Biddick, Will and Olli Fletcher, James Whitaker, Oliver Tuff, Mark Edwards and Geoff Billington.

This year the three highest placed under 25 riders* at the below Winter Classic shows will gain a qualifying ticket:

  • Aintree International Equestrian Centre 13-16 October 2022
  • Keysoe International  3-6 November 2022
  • Morris Equestrian Centre 17-20 November 2022

British Showjumping also invite any Under 25 riders** that have been selected as part of the squad of five for any Senior Nations Cup or World Championship teams in 2022.

Additionally, the five team members from both Britain’s Team NAF Junior squad as well as the five team members from the Team NAF Young Rider team who represented Britain at their respective 2022 FEI European Championships are also invited to London to compete the Championship.

*disregarding those already qualified

**If there are more than five riders, the riders with the best results would take priority as decided by the Performance Manager.
