Nicole Lockhead Anderson and Oliver Fletcher continue to thrive in Europe.

Sunday, 26 February saw Oliver Fletcher claim his third second place finish in the CSI3* 1.50m Grand Prix of the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour, Portugal, piloting Graham Fletcher and Alison Walton’s 12 year old bay mare Garande. The pair crossed the finish in a time of 40.29 seconds. With less than three seconds separating the top three riders, Niels Kersten (NED) & Tippy Z finished in top spot in a time of 38.53 seconds, whilst Bernardo Cardoso De Resende Alves (BRA) & Mosito van het Hellehof took third in a time of 40.95 seconds.
James Smith and Nicola Jamison’s Holly, Izac Ketteridge and Elisha Simmons’ Z7 Caretina, Guy Williams and his own Rouge de Ravel, and Oliver Tuff and Victoria Gosling’s Luidam’s Warrior all placed within the top 10, finishing fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth respectively.
Nicole Lockhead Anderson also continued her run of success claiming top spot in the CSI4* 1.45m Small Tour Grand Prix during week 3 of the Andalucía Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain. Fending off a talented field of over 60 riders, Nicole and her own 8 year-old bay mare, Emerald Irish Cruise, rode two determined performances and, taking some incredibly tight turns, crossed the finish line in 32.36 seconds. Rogier Linssen (NED) & Dancing Nini Z finished in second place, just 0.13 seconds behind Nicole and Emerald Irish Cruise in a time of 32.49 seconds. Peter Burri (SUI) & Dubai 64 placed third in a time of 33.24 seconds.
