From a starting field of eighty-four competitors in the Lord & Lady Equestrian Senior Newcomers Second Round at South View Equestrian Centre on Friday there could only be one winner and that was Ava Vernon riding Dean Vernon’s Billy Trysil.
On board the 8 year-old gelding, Ava from Skegness, Lincolnshire produced two clean rounds to become one of just fifteen combination to make it through to the final jump off. This partnership really used their speed to their advantage as they crossed the finish line with the winning triple clear in 40.92 seconds.
