British Showjumping’s Pony Squad announced for Pony European Championships

British Showjumping is delighted to announce the following squad has been selected to represent Great Britain at the FEI Jumping European Championship for Ponies. The competition takes place between 29 July – 2 August 2026 at Pôle Européen du Cheval, Le Mans (FRA).
Lucia Caroline, from West Sussex, with the 14-year-old bay mare, Holly Blue I, owned by Debra Lilley.
Raphela Dawson, from Berkshire, with the 13-year-old grey mare, MHS Glow, owned by Karan Dawson.
Cora Dowey, from North Yorkshire, with the 16-year-old liver chestnut mare, Armene Du Costlig, owned by Sam Dowey.
Henry Leggott, from Northallerton, with the 11-year-old dark bay mare, Blossom’s Big Claim, owned by the Blossom Stud.
Sophia Rogers, from Essex, with the 14-year-old bay gelding, Neil 55, owned by Nicola Rogers.
The Chef d’Équipe for the Pony Squad will be Clare Whitaker.
Timetable
The Team and Individual competitions will take place on the following days:
First Qualifying Competition – Thursday, 30 July at 09:00 local time
Team Championship – Friday, 31 July at 10:30 local time
Farewell Competition – Saturday, 1 August at 15:00 local time
Individual Final – Sunday, 2 August at 14:30 local time
