British Showjumping’s Team NAF Youth Squads announced for Cabourg

 

Following an invitation to compete at the Cabourg Classic in France, the following three youth squads have been selected to represent Great Britain under the title sponsor banner of Team NAF. The competition takes place between the 3 – 6 June 2021 at the Hippodrome De Cabourg.

Children Squad

Emily Fisher, aged 14 years from Reading in Berkshire, with the 9 year-old grey mare Heerdestar owned by Keith Fisher.

Eve McCoy, aged 13 years from Hungerford in Berkshire, with the 13 year-old bay gelding Non-Stop owned by Tony McCoy.

Madison Seedhouse, aged 14 years from Burton-on-Trent in Staffordshire, with either the 9 year-old mare Emara Giguellerie Z or the 11 year-old gelding Chico de Llamosas both of which are owned by ESM Equestrian.

Noora von Bülow, aged 12 years from London, with either the 11 year-old mare Lucky Lisa or the 12 year-old grey Dabelle both of which are owned by Sharifa Al-Homaizi.

Ruby Ward, aged 14 years from Neston in Cheshire with the 10 year-old mare Giddy Up Tango owned by Michael Whitaker.

Junior Squad

Ava Vernon, aged 17 from Skegness in Lincolnshire, with the 12 year-old bay mare Jolie Fleur Van De Noordheuvel owned by Dean Vernon.

Claudia Moore, aged 16 from Brentwood in Essex, with the 9 year-old bay mare Hardesther owned by Katrina Moore

Jennifer Billington, aged 16 from Wrexham in Wales, with the 10 year-old bay gelding Flipper Darco UK Z owned by Linda Billington.

Lila Bremner, aged 17 from Faringdon in Oxfordshire, with either the 9 year-old chestnut gelding Cocktail D Azur or the 9 year-old black gelding Memphis V/D Vaart both of which are owned by Tessa Bremner.

Oliver Fletcher, aged 18 from Faringdon in Oxfordshire, with either the 13 year-old grey gelding Hello Disckoboy D.N. owned by Lady Pauline Kirkham and Lady Pauline Harris or the 8 year-old bay gelding IV Willem which is owned by Alison Walton.

Young Riders Squad

Faye Sutton, aged 19 from Whitchurch in Shropshire, with the 10 year-old dark bay mare Zoey 12 owned by herself.

Flo Norris, aged 19 from Glastonbury in Somerset, with the 12 year-old bay gelding Con Pleasure 5 owned by Cisca Norris.

Lottie Tutt, aged 20 from Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, with either the 11 year-old chestnut mare Billy Angelette or the 8 year-old bay gelding Billy Bud both of which are homebred and owned by the Billy Stud.

Perdi Digby, aged 18 from Dorchester in Dorset, with the 14 year-old chestnut gelding Claddagh Iroko owned by Lady Sophie Digby.

Robert Murphy, aged 20 from Preston in Lancashire, with the 10 year-old grey mare Highcross Violet owned by Elizabeth Jackson.

The Chef d’Equipe for the Children team will be Clare Whitaker the British Showjumping Youth Team Manager and for the Junior and Young Rider team it will be Tony Newbery. The Grand Prix and Nations Cup competitions will take place on the following dates:
