Harriet Hodge lands the Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Second Round at Arena UK

The first of the Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Second Rounds took place on Sunday during the Pony Premier Show at Arena UK and it was fourteen year-old Harriet Hodge from Brough, East Riding of Yorkshire who clinched the win.

With a starting field of eighty-seven, many riders felt the pressure in the first two rounds with just nine combinations making it through to the final jump-off. Using a late draw to her advantage, Harriet kept one eye on the clock as she jumped a fast and accurate round aboard her 8 year-old dun gelding, Little Charlie II, to take victory in 41.10 seconds.
