Jackson Reed-Stephenson and Exception take 2nd in the CSI3* 1.50 Grand Prix at Vilamoura

The first week of the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour came to a close yesterday. Jackson Reed-Stephenson had a strong start to the first week of the six weeks tour, finishing second in the 51,300€ CSI3* Grand Prix aboard his own 12-year-old chestnut gelding, Exception.

Being one of only four combinations of the thirty starters going clear in the first round to make it through to the jump off, Jackson and Exception set sail around the 1.50m jump off track, set by Leandro Andreoli Balem (BRA), stopping the clock just 1.22 seconds behind the winner, Titouan Schumacher (FRA) riding Atome Z. Third place went to the only other double clear, Jerome Hurel (FRA) riding Byron du Telman.
