Joint Winners Crowned in STX-UK Pony Foxhunter Second Round at Chard

Wilson and Finneran share top honours at the Summer Pony Premier 

The STX-UK Pony Foxhunter Second Round took place at Chard Equestrian Ltd during the Summer Pony Premier, where 27 pony and rider combinations came forward to take on Matthew Hoskins' challenging track. 

The course proved to be a true test, with just two combinations managing to produce the all-important clear round in the opening phase. With no other riders progressing, both elected to withdraw ahead of a jump-off, sharing the victory and claiming joint first place. 

Taking joint top honours were Tilly Wilson riding Lee Wilson's Simon IV and Francesca Finneran aboard Selina Finneran's For Joy, both delivering composed and faultless performances when it mattered most. 

With qualification secured, attention now turns to the British Showjumping National Championships, where the successful combinations will contest the STX-UK Pony Foxhunter Masters. Riders will be aiming to book their place in the prestigious final, which takes place at the Horse of the Year Show this October.
