Joseph Trunkfield wins the Winter Grand Prix at Southview Winter Classic

This weekend saw Southview Equestrian Centre host their Winter Classic Show with the Winter Grand Prix taking place yesterday, Sunday 20th February. It was Leicestershire-based Joseph Trunkfield, who continued to be on winning form as he jumped in to first place riding Grennanstown Sarco Luxhill, owend by TJ Hall Limited.

Of the thirty-three starters, just nine combinations cleared the 1.40m track for a place in the jump-off. With an early draw, Joseph set a fast the pace which proved to be unbeatable, stopping the clock in 38.03 seconds with a double clear.  

Second place went to Graham Babes aboard Glencoe, with a double clear in 40.91 seconds. Paul Crago  took third place jumping a double clear with June Hof Ter Zeedycke in 43.17 seconds.
