LGCT Madrid Ready to Kick-off European stages of 2021 season

The world’s best riders will continue their Longines Global Champions Tour campaign in Madrid next month at the beautiful Club de Campo Villa de Madrid.

Fans will be treated to a dazzling display of top class sport and entertainment across three days. From 21 - 23 May, there will be six top-level Longines Ranking CSI5* classes including the LGCT Grand Prix of Madrid and two-round GCL team competition, with over €900,000 in total prize money.

With safety the number one priority, organisers continue to work closely with local and national authorities as well as the FEI governing body to ensure the event follows strict health protocols under the COVID-19 and EHV-1 regulations. A detailed list of the biosecurity measures in place will be available soon.

All the action will be streamed live on GCTV with expert commentary and analysis ensuring show jumping fans across the world can follow their favourite riders and horses throughout the event.

Kicking off a flat out gallop across key European cities, Madrid is a globally significant capital which buzzes with sophistication and energy. Madrid’s exclusive country club, the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, will host the LGCT series at its equestrian centre on the stunning grass arena.

Limited tickets will be made available in due course, while the full list of participants will follow shortly.
