Nations Cup Success for Great Britain’s Youth Teams in Zuidwolde

Great Britain's youth teams enjoyed a hugely successful week at the FEI Jumping Nations Cup Youth 2026 in Zuidwolde, with the Pony team securing a brilliant Nations Cup victory and the Young Riders team adding a podium finish with an impressive second-place result.

Pony Team Claims Nations Cup Glory

The British Pony team rose to the occasion in spectacular style, topping the leaderboard in the Nations Cup after a thrilling battle with Ireland that went all the way to a jump-off.

Taking on the challenging 1m30 track, Tabby Morgan-Evans and Conella Li were first into the arena for Great Britain and got the team off to a solid start, finishing with four faults. Henry Leggott followed aboard Blossom's Big Claim and produced a superb clear round to keep the British challenge on track.

Raphaela Uma Dawson and MHS Glow continued the momentum with another fantastic clear round before Sophia Rogers and Neil 55 completed the first round for Great Britain, finishing on an unlucky four faults. With the best three scores to count, Great Britain headed into the second round on a score of just four faults.

The team returned for round two determined to improve on their already strong position and delivered an outstanding performance. All four combinations produced faultless rounds, allowing Great Britain to finish the second round on a perfect score of zero. Ireland matched the British effort, meaning the Nations Cup title would be decided in a tense jump-off.

With both teams once again finishing on zero faults in the jump-off, the destination of the trophy came down to the clock. Great Britain emerged victorious with a combined time of 98.50 seconds, edging out Ireland's 101.42 seconds to secure a memorable Nations Cup win.

The victory was a testament to the consistency, composure and team spirit shown by all four riders throughout the competition.
