The SEIB Winter Novice Qualifier held at Arena UK was won by Nicole Pavitt from West Sussex, riding Sandra Pavitt’s Q-Pleasure Van Seven Oaks.
52 horse and rider combinations came forward to contend the second SEIB Winter Novice Qualifier of the season. 19 combinations jumped clear, progressing into what promised to be an exciting jump off. Nicole entered the arena knowing several quick clear jumps had preceded her but rising to the challenge ahead. With an accurate, quick round, she steered the six year-old chestnut stallion around the course for a double clear, stopping the clock in an impressive time of 34.18 seconds.
