Round up from Thursday at the ECCO FEI World Championships Herning

A super clear round from pathfinders Ben Maher and Oakingham Stud's Faltic HB (pictured) got Great Britain off to a great start in today's team qualifier at ECCO FEI World Championships Herning when the pair made light work of the 165cm track. The combination currently sit in individual 6th place after two rounds of jumping.

Second in for the Brits in the team qualifier were Joseph Stockdale and Joy Cocklin and Laura Stockdale's Equine America Cacharel. Their round started out beautifully, but troubles in the treble caused difficulties down the related distance – Joe and Cash tried their absolute hardest to recover, but three fences hit the sand. They then finished the round in much the same stylish manner they started it, proving that they still have plenty more to offer in this competition.

Harry Charles and Romeo 88, whom he owns with Ann Thompson, were third in for the British team. An otherwise brilliant round was marred by two down in the treble, but Romeo still finished looking full of fire.

The last combination into the Stutteri Ask Stadium today were Lady Pauline Harris and Lady Pauline Kirkham's Hello Jefferson and Scott Brash; the pair were on a mission to secure an all-important clear for the British team and hold onto the individual second place they earned yesterday, which they accomplished.

The Great Britain squad have successfully qualified for the Team Final tomorrow and currently lie in 6th place, find all results from Herning here.
