Sam Hutton is on the winning team at Greenwich Major League Showjumping in The USA

Sam Hutton joined Kent Farrington and Rodrigo Pessoa as Team KPF to win the $200,000 Trelawny Farm 5* Team competition at the Major League Show Jumping (MLSJ) Greenwich, USA.
The 2026/27 season has eight teams competing at nine venues over the season, from Toronto to finally landing in Monterrey, over 5* 1.50m courses. Three from a possible six riders from each team compete in the first round; the four top teams contend the second round and finally, the two top teams battle it out for the medal positions in round three, with just one rider representing each team in the jump-off.
Eight teams contended over a 1.50m track set by Olympic course-designer Guilherme Jorge, with Sam producing a vital clear for the team in round one on Etincelle D’Ellipse, while his two teammates came home on four faults apiece.
The eight teams were halved to four for round two – where two riders from each team come forward – Sam returned on eight faults this time and Brazil’s Rodrigo saving the day with a clear aboard Hard Rock AF. It was sufficient for Team KPF to access the jump-off in a head-to-head with The Roadrunners, who topped the board at this point on 1 time fault with the Rainmakers on four.
The USA’s Kent Farrington was in his element in the jump-off – firing Rexton into a fast clear to set a quick target. Daniel Coyle for the Roadrunners had to produce a clear was in contention, but a penultimate rail fell for Calippo 57, adding three seconds to their time and handing the gold medal to Team KF. It marked back-to-back wins for Team KPF – also winners at Traverse City.
Lance Whitehouse is in the money at Bonheiden
Lance Whitehouse marked up two good places with White Sparke Ego in the 2* 1.45m classes at Bonheiden, Belgium.
A total of 14 from a field of 72 returned for the jump-off in the first of the 1.45m classes, Lance and the home-bred Argento x Ard Ohio 13-year-old slotting into second 0.93 seconds off the pace.
Twenty-four hours later in the second of the world ranking 1.45m competitions, Lance and White Sparke Ego slipped into fourth in the 54-strong speed, 2.83 sec behind the winning time.
Millie Allen is on the podium at Sentower Park
Millie Allen picked up two podium places at Sentower Park in Belgium.
Millie took second in the first 51-entry 2* 1.40m two-phase on the 10-year-old mare Lanceola Eickenrode (Grand Slam VDL x C Indoctro) 0.83 seconds behind the winner. Twenty-four hours later, Millie also claimed second in the 2* 1.40m over a two-phase track with the 10-year-old mare Quick Diamant HR (Diamant De Semilly x Quidam De Revel), on this occasion 0.59 seconds in arrears.
Emma Stoker and Skylandria Z doubled up; winning an early 62-strong 1* 1.30m two-phase by 1.52 seconds and leading a British top three in the 1* 1.35m. Ten from 27 starters contended the jump-off, Emma slotting the 12-year-old Super Trooper De Ness x Indoctro mare into the top spot by an impressive 2.82 seconds. Millie Allen slipped A Lucky One Z into second with Olivia Mae Davison in third aboard Nice Girl.
