With an emphasis on high end sport, the show offers a unique opportunity to get up close to the riders from our shopping village and champagne bar for all spectators overlooking the warm up arena, as well as providing a fabulous social atmosphere to enjoy with friends and family.

This year’s show welcomes a number of exciting new additions, including the Windmill Farm Estate 7-year-old Championship, which places a firm focus on up-and-coming future equestrian athletes.  The first of its kind, this final will see the top fifteen placed 7-year-old horses from the Al Shira’aa Bolesworth Young Horse Championship contest the CSIYH* on Sunday 2nd January 2022, with a warm up class taking place on 31st December. Alongside the qualifying places, there will also be an additional fifteen invitational places available at the discretion of the organiser. Another highlight is the Eventing Grand Prix scheduled to take place during the Sunday evening performance.

With something on offer for the whole family to enjoy, the entertainment schedule also includes the new BSPS Mountain & Moorland Championship, which will see the very best combinations in the country come forward hoping to take the title and emerge victorious. Show favourites and novelty classes also return in the form of the iconic, red Puissance wall, the fast and furious Ride and Drive and highly competitive Shetland Pony Grand National. Signing off every performance, crowd pleasers the International Cossacks will be returning to Liverpool with their supreme Stunt Show of daring and thrilling acrobatics on horseback. Alongside the schedule of sport and entertainment, ticket upgrades are also available to enjoy ‘An Audience With’ sessions, with appearances including YouTube sensation, This Esme and Eventing star, Ben Hobday. Hosting afternoon, evening and matinee performances, there are a number of opportunities to enjoy all that the show has to offer.

This year also welcomes new title sponsors in Voltaire Design, a highly innovative saddle company sharing the Liverpool International Horse Show’s passion and commitment to supporting all levels of equestrian sport. A company synonymous with outstanding craftsmanship, fashion and flair designed for the forward-thinking rider, the full range of Voltaire Design saddles will be available to view at the show.
