Sunshine and Success at the UNIBED Academy Championships and The Style & Performance Finals

Stoneleigh Park was bathed in glorious sunshine on Wednesday as Academy teams from across the country came together for the UNIBED – High Performance Equine Bedding Academy Championships. With championship titles up for grabs across five categories, the competition was fierce, and the day provided plenty of fantastic showjumping. 

Mini Teams 

The UNIBED – High Performance Equine Bedding Mini Teams Championship saw the Bonnie Bridles take the top honours from a strong field of 41 teams. The Cleveland Comets produced a fantastic performance to finish as runners-up. 

Midi Teams 

In the Midi Teams Championship, it was the Lancashire & Cheshire Green team who secured the championship title, coming out on top against 30 other teams. The Berks & Oxfordshire Rubies finished in the runner-up position after a great performance. 

Intermediate Teams 

The Bristol & Somerset Diva team claimed victory in the Intermediate Teams Championship, taking the top spot against 25 other teams. Berks & Ox Diamonds finished as runners-up following a competitive championship. 

Maxi Teams 

The Maxi Teams Championship provided plenty of excitement, with the Heather Highlanders taking the championship title against five other teams. The Norfolk Canaries secured the runner-up position. 

Advanced Teams 

Rounding off the Academy team championships, the Dyfed Celtic Thunders took the top honours in the Advanced Teams Championship, finishing ahead of three other teams. The Diamonds claimed the runner-up spot. 

A Fantastic Day at Stoneleigh 

With glorious sunshine providing the perfect backdrop, it was a fantastic day of team competition at Stoneleigh Park. The Academy Championships showcased the depth of talent across the British Showjumping Academy programme, with riders representing their teams and regions with pride. 

Congratulations to all the championship-winning teams, runners-up, riders, horses, coaches and supporters who made the day such a success.

British Showjumping Style & Performance Finals 

The final day also hosted the British Showjumping Style & Performance Finals for both Junior and Senior riders as part of the Star Performance Awards pathway. These awards are progressive and cover the important foundations to succeed in showjumping. Whatever your goal in showjumping, working through these awards will improve your understanding of horses, showjumping and give you the skills to succeed.
