British Showjumping is saddened to hear about the passing of Jane Hunt

British Showjumping is saddened to hear about the passing of Jane Hunt on Thursday, 17th October 2024 after a long fight with cancer.

Jane gave a great deal of time to British Showjumping and Pony Club members in and around Area 25 for many years. A stalwart of Area 25, she last judged at Burwarton at the beginning of August this year.

Her knowledge of and enthusiasm for our sport along with the encouragement she gave to many Junior riders will be sadly missed but long be remembered.

Jane's funeral will take place on Thursday,14th November at Emstrey Crematorium, London Road, Shrewsbury, SY2 6PS at 3.30pm. Family Flowers only. Donations to the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund at Shrewsbury Hospital.
