British Showjumping Team announced for CSIO5* St Gallen FEI Nations Cup

Following an invitation to compete in the CSIO5* Nations Cup in St Gallen (SUI), the following team have been selected to represent Great Britain. The competition takes place between the 1 – 4 June 2023 at the CSIO St.Gallen AG, Switzerland

  • Harry Charles, from Hampshire, with the 12-year-old bay mare Casquo Blue, owned by Stall Zet.
     
  • Tim Gredley, from Suffolk, with either the 11-year-old bay gelding Medoc de Toxandria or the 10-year-old black gelding Imperial HBF, both owned by Unex Competition Yards Ltd.
     
  • Joe Stockdale from Northampton, with the 12-year-old bay mare Equine America Cacharel, jointly owned by Joy Cocklin and Laura Stockdale.
     
  • Donald Whitaker, from South Yorkshire, with the 10-year-old grey mare Millfield Colette, owned by Reitsportanlage Dagobertshausen GmbH & CO.KG
     
  • Joe Whitaker, from South Yorkshire, with his own 11-year-old chestnut gelding Hulahupe JR

This Nations Cup competition takes place on Friday, 2 June at 16:45 hrs local time (15:45 BST), while the Grand Prix will be on Sunday, 4 June at 14:30 hrs local time (13:30 BST). The Chef d’Équipe for the team will be Di Lampard.

The GBR showjumping teams are supported by the British Equestrian Federation’s World Class Programme, funded by UK Sport through the National Lottery. The Programme focuses on identifying talent, developing potential and maximising medal-winning performances on the world stage. The teams are further supported by LeMieux, who supply the teams with their saddlepads and rugs.
