British Showjumping’s Pony Squad announced for Pony European Championships

British Showjumping is delighted to announce the following squad has been selected to represent Great Britain at the FEI Jumping European Championship for Ponies. The competition takes place between 28 July – 3 August 2025 at Pôle Européen du Cheval, Le Mans (FRA).

Darcy Breen, from West Sussex, with the 10-year-old grey mare, One Saharah, owned by Breen Equestrian Ltd.

Lucy Capper, from Renfrewshire, with the 15-year-old bay stallion, Oscar Van De Beekerheide, jointly owned by Nicola and Robert Capper.

Hollie Gerken, from Essex, with the 13-year-old bay mare, Galaxy V, owned by Jade Gerken.

Nellie Lock, from Essex, with the 10-year-old grey mare, Catho Van De Langvelden Z, owned by Dulcie Chambers.

Sophia Rogers, from Essex, with the 13-year-old bay gelding, Neil 55, owned by Nicola Rogers.

The Chef d’Équipe for the Pony Squad will be Clare Whitaker.

Timetable

The Team and Individual competitions will take place on the following days:

First Qualifying Competition – Thursday, 31 July at 09:00 local time (08:00 BST)
Team Championship – Friday, 1 August at 08:00 local time (07:00 BST)
Farewell Competition – Saturday, 2 August at 15:30 local time (14:30 BST)
Individual Final – Sunday, 3 August at 13:30 local time (12:30 BST)

The British Showjumping Youth teams are proudly supported by Coldstream Equestrian, who supply the Youth teams with their team jackets and LeMieux, who supply the teams with their saddlepads.
