British Showjumping’s Youth Teams announced for Nations Cup in Zduchovice, Czechia

The following three youth squads have been selected to represent Great Britain at the FEI Jumping Youth Nations Cup of Zduchovice. The competition takes place between 24th and 28th April 2024 at Jezdecké centrum Zduchovice, Czechia. Please note, the Childrens squad is provisional. Five riders will be selected to attend the Nations Cup competition and selection will be finalised following the Nations Cup of Compiegne.

Children Squad

Charlotte Adams, from West Sussex, with the 8-year-old bay mare Khaleesi OL, owned by Georgia Adams.

Ted Bastian Mason, from Hampshire, with the 12-year-old bay stallion RS Chacco Bay, owned by Alex Bishop. 

Honey Bowes, from Lincolnshire, with the eights-year-old chestnut gelding Javas El Cid, owned by Jon Bowes.

Olivia Brightmore, from Nottinghamshire, with the eight-year-old bay gelding Tilouis Van Duyversputten Z, owned by Rachel Brightmore.

Millie Donlan, from Nottinghamshire, with the nine-year-old chestnut gelding Timarif, owned by Elizabeth Donlan.

Tabby Morgan-Evans, from Suffolk, with the 11-year-old chestnut gelding Bermudez BDA, owned by Tiffany Morgan-Evans.

Rosie Smith, from Leicestershire, with either the 11-year-old bay mare Azolette, owned by Tania Wareham, or the14-year-old chestnut stallion Fuselli, jointly owned by Holly Smith and TJ Hall Ltd.
 

Junior Squad

Izzy Doyle, from Lincolnshire, with the 11-year-old chestnut gelding Claxon van de Bosweg, owned by Deborah Doyle.

Alena Hughes, from South Yorkshire, with the 12-year-old bay gelding Hercules V, owned by Victoria Hughes.

Fergal Holohan, from Ayrshire, with either the nine-year-old bay mare Karima II, or the 12-year-old chestnut mare Kan Annie, both owned by Fiona Holohan.

Ruby Barrs, from Hertfordshire, with the 12-year-old bay gelding Manzana De Rigo, owned by Jacqueline Barrs.

Henry Squibb, from Essex, with either the nine-year-old bay mare Diatencona PS, jointly owned by Amy Squibb and Emily Fenn, or the 11-year-old bay gelding Kimba Kasino, owned by Nicki Barton.

 

Young Riders Squad

Connie Adams, from Northamptonshire, with the 10-year-old grey gelding, Jagger III, owned by Claire Adams.

Tallulah Mackenzie Smith, from Wiltshire, with the 13-year-old bay mare Nistria VD Winning Z, owned by Hugo Mackenzie Smith.

Francesca Young, from Berkshire, with the nine-year-old bay gelding Carrickview Libretto, owned Emma Young.

Jocasta Symons, from Wiltshire, with the 15-year-old bay gelding Expert IV, owned by Julie Symons.

Glain Watkin Jones, from Gwynedd, with the eight-year-old bay mare La Vie Est D’Or, owned by Iona Watkin Jones.

The GBR showjumping teams are supported by the British Equestrian Federation’s World Class Programme, funded by UK Sport through the National Lottery. The Programme focuses on identifying talent, developing potential and maximising medal-winning performances on the world stage. The teams are further supported by LeMieux, who supply the teams with their saddlepads and rugs.
