Home-Bred Quarantino Delivers Ariat Senior British Novice Championship Glory for Stephanie Gunn

The Ariat Senior British Novice Championship Final took centre stage on Wednesday at the British Showjumping National Championships at Stoneleigh Park, with riders from across the country coming together to contest one of the most prestigious titles on the national calendar.

After qualifying through a highly competitive season, combinations arrived at Stoneleigh all hoping to claim championship honours, producing an exciting day of competition in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

When the final results were decided, it was Stephanie Gunn who secured the coveted title aboard her talented home-bred gelding, Quarantino. The pair produced a superb performance to take top honours and cap off a memorable day at the Championships.

Reflecting on her victory, Stephanie said: “Surprising, I was really happy though, the horse jumped great, he did everything I asked of him.

“He's by my old stallion I used to ride that we sadly lost a few years ago, so he's quite a special horse to us. I’ve done everything with him myself, and he's super consistent.”

The win was made even more meaningful by the strong connection Stephanie has with Quarantino, having bred, produced and campaigned him herself. Their success is a testament to years of dedication and partnership, making this Ariat Senior British Novice Championship title a particularly special achievement.
