Non-Executive Board Director Vacancies

British Showjumping is the national governing body in Great Britain which formulates the rules and codes of practice under which all affiliated competitions are held. Our purpose is to improve and maintain standards of showjumping, while encouraging members of all standards and at all levels to enjoy fair competition over safe and attractive courses.  

Board vacancies have arisen as part of the term rotation and therefore, British Showjumping is looking for a Non-Executive Director in each of the following areas:

·        Legal & Governance

·        Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

·        Equine Welfare

Candidates for the above positions will need to show experience at Board level along with significant relative experience in the specific area and be enthusiastic and forward-thinking people who can operate in a team environment. Meetings are held around six times a year, usually at our offices in Meriden, West Midlands.

The above are voluntary positions, offered for a three-year term commencing from the 1st April, 2024.  Expenses will be paid in line with our expenses policy.
