Scott Brash Tops Individual Standings at the End of Day 2
Thursday 20 August 2026

Germany retained their lead in the Team standings while Great Britain's Scott Brash moved to the top of the Individual standings as the FEI Jumping World Championship 2026 continued in Aachen (GER) on Thursday.
The host nation added nothing to their overnight score to remain on 3.48 penalties following Round 1 of the Second Competition, ahead of the USA on 4.85, with Belgium third on 7.69.
With only the 10 highest-ranked nations advancing to Friday’s decisive second round, Germany, the USA, Belgium, Italy, Great Britain, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark and Ireland made the cut. The 60 best-placed Athletes will also return for Round 2.
Individually, Brash, aboard Hello Mango, moved into first place after another clear round to remain on 0.80 penalties. Germany's Sophie Hinners sits second with Iron Dames Singclair on 0.84, while Steve Guerdat (SUI), riding Dynamix de Belheme, and Daniel Deusser (GER), aboard Otello de Guldenboom, share third on 0.86.
The Jumping competition continues on Friday at 18:50 CEST with Round 2 of the Second Competition – Team Final and Second Individual Qualifier – where the Team medals will be decided.
