Young Riders Shine in STX-UK Pony British Novice Second Rounds this Weekend.

This past weekend showcased two STX-UK Pony British Novice Second, each declaring it’s own winner, as well providing qualifications to the STX-UK Pony British Novice Final at the British Showjumping National Championships.

Bury Farm Competition - Saturday, May 11th

The first competition kicked off at Bury Farm, where riders battled it out for top honors. Ruby Chamberlain, riding Snooper Dooper owned by Becky Chamberlain, emerged victorious. The duo delivered clear rounds in the first two rounds, securing their spot in the jump-off. With a stellar performance, they clinched the win in a time of 40.01 second, 1.42 seconds ahead of the next fastest combination, Jamie Limgoulder and Silverlinings Touch of Class. Among the 29 starters, 11 achieved a clear first round, with nine progressing to the jump-off.

Stainsby Grange Competition - Sunday, May 12th

The excitement continued at Stainsby Grange the following day, where Cora Dowey piloted Sonny XI, owned by Sam Dowey, to victory. Their impressive jump-off time of 27.20 seconds secured the top spot, leaving Kate Anderson and Captain Glenister in second place. The jump-off featured nine of the starting 21 combinations, all racing against the clock for glory.
