Leicestershire Academy Stud Visit

On Friday evening, our Junior Academy had the honour and privilege to visit Bruce Thorpeley’s Irish Draught and rare breed stud.
Many of us were left totally mind blown, not just by the amazing work from Bruce and his team, but also by the reception we received - A huge thank you to Bruce’s mum.
It was clear from the start just how dedicated, knowledgable and passionate Bruce is about his horses, and long may his amazing work continue.
Our young riders learned everything about reproduction, natural mating and artificial insemination, opportunity to see live sperm under the microscope, and endless foal cuddles.
Thank you to those who attended, we hope you enjoyed it.
