Emma Jo Slater takes first and second in the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round at Hartpury University

Hartpury University played host to this week’s Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round on Sunday, and it was Emma Jo Slater who claimed the win on board Jassy Pike’s 7 year-old gelding, Saturday Night Fever.
From a large starting field of 62, 17 combinations jumped double clear around the winding course to make it through to the final jump off. As 13 combinations jumped a further clear round, it would come down to speed an accuracy to take the class. Emma Jo Slater posted a lightning-fast final jump off and secured this combination the win, crossing the finish line in 38.31 seconds, narrowly beating her other ride, Kimba Je Taime, whom she finished second on in a time of 38.85.
