Louise Saywell takes top spot in the Equitop® Senior Newcomers Second Round at Speetley Equestrian Centre

Speetley Equestrian Centre played host to this week’s Equitop® Senior Newcomers Second Round on Saturday, and it was Louise Saywell who secured the win on board Harry Whall’s 7 year-old chestnut gelding, Untouchable Wizzard.
A strong starting field of 74 combinations came forward to contest the track, with 17 jumping double clears to make it round to the final jump off. Louise from Retford, Nottinghamshire kept a cool head to pilot Untouchable Wizzard around the jump off in a time that would indeed prove to be untouchable, securing them the win and crossing the finish line in 42.11 seconds.
