Emma Stoker wins Sentower Park Grand Prix

It was an impressive CSI3* Grand Prix win for Emma Stoker from Monks Fyston in Leeds and the 11 year-old bay gelding Kontador Vdm at Sentower Park, Opglabbeek in Belgium today.

A huge field of sixty starters came forward to contest the 1.55m track with fourteen jumping clear in the first round to come forward for the jump-off.  Emma was the only Brit to make it through to the jump off which saw eight of them jump another clear and less than three seconds decide how the top six placings played out.

For Emma, it was an incredibly fast clear when she broke the finish line in 34.02 seconds to secure the win. The closes to her was Abdel Said (EGY) with Jumpy van de Hermitage who broke the finish line in 34.13 seconds to take 2nd place which made them the only two combinations to break the 35 second barrier.

Eduardo Pereira de Menezes (BRA) and H5 Elvaro took 3rd with Eoin McMahon (IRL) and Chacon 2 taking 4th with their times of 35.11 and 35.44 respectively.
